Sacramento has dozens of skate parks in the city and surrounding areas. Learn a little bit about each park before you visit. Tell us what you think by talking to us on one of our social media accounts!

28TH AND B SKATE PARK "THE HANGER"

28th and B was opened in 2000 and just keeps getting better! Admission is $3 and pads and helmets can also be rented on location. The park is fully indoors so skaters never have to worry about the weather. It is located at 20 28th St in Sacramento, CA.

GRANITE SKATE PARK AKA POWER INN PARK

Located at 8200 Ramona Avenue visitors will find an enormous park. Granite Skate Park includes numerous bowls, stair sets, pools, street sets, and much more. With something for everyone, beginner to pro, this park is a fan favorite of Northern California skaters.

MCCLATCHY SKATEPARK AKA OAK PARK

Established in 2014, McClatchy is relatively newer. It is all concrete, outdoor, and free. Skaters can visit this location at 3085 33rd Street and check out the quarter pipes, rails, and ledges.

WILD ROSE SKATE PARK

Wild Rose Skate Park is an open, free, concrete park located at 5200 Kankakee Drive in North Sacramento. This park contains ledges, rails, snake runs, and quarter pipes.

MATHER SKATEPARK AKA PLAZA SKATE PARK

Mather is known for its "street style plaza" and is worth the trip. It is open from sunrise - 10pm. Rental safety gear is offered. Mather is a favorite, from beginner to pro. The park is located at 3755 Schriever Ave in Mather, CA.

ELK GROVE SKATEPARK AT  WACKFORD AQUATIC AND COMMUNITY CENTER

Wackford opened in 2004 and is fairly popular for local skaters. This 11,000 square foot park has plenty of room for skateboarding. Skaters can check out the four leaf clover bowl, stairs, ledges, and more. The best part? It has lights!  Check it out at 9014 Bruceville Road in Elk Grove, CA.

DERR-OKAMOTO AKA MAINLINE

Derr-Okamoto's skate park opened in 2013. The park is free! The inside of the park contains stair sets, bowls, bank-to-vert walls, and various types of ledges. Check it out at 9550 Mainline Drive in Elk Grove, CA.

TANZANITE

Open since 2006, this small park has gained big attention for its street sets. It is free to enter and pads are not required. There are no lights so Tanzanite is not ideal for night skating.

ARGONAUT

Argonaut is a newer park and fairly small. Located in South Sacramento at 1402 Dickson St Sacramento, CA, Argonaut is free to skate.

SHASTA COMMUNITY PARK

Shasta Skate Park opened in 2010 and has been well maintained since. It can be found at 7400 Imagination Parkway Sacramento, CA 95823.

EL DORADO HILLS

El Dorado Hills has one of the nicer parks in Sacramento County. The park has lights for night skating, park attendants, and is free!

JOE'S PARK AKA PLACERVILLE

Standard skate park rules apply here. This park is fairly large and is near the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, which makes it hard to miss. Admission is free.

 ARTIVIO GUERRERO SKATE PARK

Artivio Guerrero Park was built in 2014. Roughly the same size as Argonaut, which is about 3,000 square feet. What makes this park stand out in Sacramento is the shape of the design.

REICHMUTH PARK

Reichmuth Community Park is located at 6135 Glorida Drive. It opened in 2011. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.

CUMMINGS FAMILY SKATE AKA FOLSOM

One major reason to check out this park is that it recently became free to skate. All skaters must wear full pads and helmets, but are required to bring your own. This park does not have a rental service.  Here skaters will find bowls, ledges, and rails.

CAMERON PARK

This park is located at 2400 Merrychase Dr, Cameron Park, CA​. It is open from sunrise to sunset and does not have lights. The admission is free and is a solid park for street style skating.

ROBERTSON PARK

Robertson Park is found at 3525 Norwood Avenue in North Sacramento. It is all outdoor, concrete, and free. There are lights at this park, which are perfect for night skating.

ORCHARD PARK

Orchard Park is a park for beginners or those looking to have a quiet sesh away from the crowds. It is hard to see so be on the lookout for it.

This park is located at 2936 W River Dr, Sacramento, CA.
