Where to Skate When Its Raining That's Better Than Your Garage

The rainy season in Sacramento has started. Although it is much needed, the rain definitely makes it hard to get those seshes in. Sacramento doesn't have a lot of options for indoor skating, which means skaters have to get creative. These are our favorite spots to skate at while its raining! Chem em out. Let us know where your go-to spots are in the comments.

Boulevard Skate Shop has its very own indoor skate area. There is always someone on location showing off their skills. The shop hosts events on occasion that brings everyone out. This makes it one of the best skate shops in Sacramento. Peep their Instagram, @boulevardskateshop, they have loads of videos and content.

28th and B is the indoor go-to for many skaters of all ages. This skate park is larger than Boulevard's skate area, but has an admission cost. The Hanger is always supervised so its only open from 4-9pm on the weekdays and 1-6pm on the weekends. Perfect for after work skate seshes.

Sutter Middle School

I told you we had to get creative. Our founder likes to skate at this spot when its raining out. Sutter Middle School has a few overhangs and covered hallways to keep out the rain. Schools are already popular places to skate. They have plenty of space and obstacles to put skills to the test. Sutter just has a bit more to offer by keeping skaters out of the rain, for the most part. Watch Zack and his friends skate around Sutter.
